What is the Amazon Web Services Solutions Catalog?
Developers are constantly innovating with Amazon Web Services to build software that empowers a multitude of audiences. The Amazon Web Services Solutions Catalog is a venue where end users of all kinds – including other developers – can find AWS-based solutions that meet their needs.

How can I find what I am looking for in the Solutions Catalog?
You can either browse or search the Solutions Catalog to find solutions of interest to you. You my browse either by intended audience of the solution (Consumers, Businesses, Developers, Amazon Associates or Sellers), or by the service(s) that are used within the solutions. Alternatively, you can use search for a particular keyword, or use the advanced search feature to more precisely narrow your results.

Once you retrieve a set of results, click on any individual solution to learn more and discover the details about what the solution is used for, how it works, the link to the solution's URL, how to contact the solution owner, etc.

Who can contribute to the Solutions Catalog?
Any Amazon Web Services developer whose solution incorporates use of any (or many) of our web services may contribute.

Who can review a solution in the Solutions Catalog?
Anyone who has experience using a particular solution may review it.

How do I review a solution?
To create a review, click the "Review Solution" link on the solution's listing. Login using a valid e-mail address and password associated with an Amazon.com account (if you do not have an Amazon.com account, you will be prompted to create one). If you have never logged into the Solutions Catalog, you will be asked to create a unique Username, which will be used to identify you as the author of your reviews.

Give your review a title, and indicate both a rating and a justification for your rating. See What are some guidelines for creating a review?" for help in creating helpful feedback for the rest of the community.

If you have set up an Amazon Pen Name or Real Name™ as part of your Amazon profile, the Solutions Catalog will use these in place of your Username. To add, edit, or delete your Pen Name or Real Name™, or to learn more about these identifiers, please visit your Amazon profile page.

What are some guidelines for creating a review for a solution?
Amazon Web Services wants your comments to be heard! The recommended review length is 75 to 300 words.

What to include:

Your review should focus on the solution's strengths and weaknesses. The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a solution, but also why.

What not to include:

Amazon.com is proud to provide this forum for you to air your opinions about the solutions AWS developers have built. While we appreciate your time and comments, we respectfully request that you refrain from including the following in your review:

  1. Commenting on other reviews visible on the page, as these and their positions on the page are subject to change without notice.
  2. Profanity, obscenities, or spiteful remarks.
  3. Single-word reviews. We want to know why you liked or disliked the solution. Please be as factual as possible.
  4. Phone numbers or other personal contact information, URLs.
  5. Commenting on typos on the page. If you'd like to tell us about a specific problem, please contact us.
  6. Request for technical support or other help from the solution's owner. To do so, please contact the solution owner by using the e-mail address indicated on the listing.
  7. Request for AWS technical support; please use the discussion forums for this.
Any review in violation of these guidelines may be removed
